MOZART'S LA CLEMENZA DI TITO STAGED BY GÁBOR TOMPA AT THE BUCHAREST NATIONAL OPERA

On Saturday, the 29th of June, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's last opera, La Clemenza di Tito, will have its national premiere at the Bucharest National Opera, directed by Gábor Tompa and conducted by Ábel Tompa, both of whom are working with the Bucharest National Opera for the first time, this being also their first professional collaboration.

The production's set was designed by Adrian Damian, costume designer Luiza Enescu, lighting designer Cristian Șimon, choirmasters Daniel Jinga and Adrian Ionescu. With the participation of the Bucharest National Opera Chorus and Orchestra. The opera will be staged in two casts: on 29 June TITO - Bogdan Mihai, VITELLIA - Marta Sandu Ofrim, SERVILIA - Daniela Cârstea, SESTO - Liliana Istratii, ANNIO - Mihaela Ișpan, PUBLIO - Marius Boloș, while on 30 June you can see TITO - Andrei Lazăr, VITELLIA - Rodica Ștefan, SERVILIA - Mădălina Barbu, SESTO - Florentina Soare, ANNIO - Adelina Cociobanu, PUBLIO - Damian Vlad.
